I like the technical side of wine. I like making it understandable even more.
My background crosses wine education, restaurant and hospitality operations, staff training, private events, food pairing and beverage-program strategy. WineNRD grew out of the belief that serious wine knowledge does not require serious wine attitude.
I’ll happily talk terroir, élevage, acidity, margins, Champagne production or why the bottle you loved last month suddenly tastes different with dinner. I just don’t think any of it requires a personality transplant.
What I Bring
Wine knowledge with operating context.
I understand the glass and the room around it: the guest, the server, the invoice, the margin, the event flow, the training problem and the person who just wants to know what to order.
Hospitality
Hands-on experience with wine programs, opening operations, staff development, service systems, events and guest experience.
Communication
The goal is not to make wine simpler than it is. The goal is to explain it clearly enough that complexity becomes interesting instead of intimidating.
